Toby Mac Wows over 10,000 Fans
at the Whyville Concert

San Diego, Ca. June 29,2007 Toby Mac, one of the founders of Contemporary Christian Hip Hop, is still making the hits. His most recent project “Portable Sounds” continues to be a top 5 best-seller after more than 4 months since its release. On the heels of this recent success, the Grammy nominated artist recently performed in front of over 10,000 fans at the virtual world Whyville, for teen and pre-teen girls and boys (www.Whyville.com).

The live concert at Whyville's Greek Theatre featured songs from “Portable Sounds”, along with a few of Toby Mac’s old favorites. Mac’s Christian Music Hip Hop artist’s shows usually include some very cool electronic effects, and in the spirit of using modern technology the electronic promotions during the show by Citizens of Whyville generated over 3,000 chat questions that were submitted via MSN, Google, and Yahoo during the concert. This was preceded by 4600 fans attending a Tailgate Party.

Okay, so now here is something cool you are going to want to be part of on July 3^rd, exclusively on Yahoo!, fans will be able to view the World Premiere of Toby Mac’s new music video. It is featuring his song “Boomin”, and it was filmed recently in Los Angeles. But let us ask you this; Do you think you have video producing talent?

For those of you with some video making skills, check out the Toby Mac fan video contest. In order to enter you will need to create a video for a song from “Portable Sounds”. The winning video will be premiered on the JumboTron before Toby’s set at Creation Festival Northwest on July 28.
