RED BREAKS BILLBOARD TOP 200 ALBUM SALES CHART

WITH DEBUT, END OF SILENCE

(San Diego, Ca.) July 18, 2007 – Grammy winning Red has landed in the Billboard Top 200 Album Sales Chart with its debut, “End of Silence”, with total sales of 112,647.  End of Silence is the No. 91 album on the iTunes Top 100 Album Chart, and is among SoundScan’s “Greatest Gainers” for the week ending July 8, 2007, among artists such as The Fray and Beyonce.

“I couldn’t believe it when I heard the news. We want to thank everyone for their hard work – it’s all really paying off. We’re so glad to have the opportunity to connect with our fans…that is ultimately what makes any of this possible.” said Red guitarist, Anthony Armstrong

“Red is an example of hard work and an amazing team effort creating an artist development success story. We’re impressed by the band’s work ethic and are proud to continue to support their music and vision,” comments Terry Hemmings, President and CEO, Provident Music Group.

Red will be a part of the “Revolution Calling” Tour from July 16-25 and will be playing many Christian festivals before going back on tour with Three Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin and Seether in October and November of this year. Recently on Monday night, July 9, 2007, in Atlanta, Red wrapped its tour with Breaking Benjamin, bringing its intense show to the sold-out house at Tabernacle.

Since the June 6, 2006 release of its debut album, End of Silence, Red has toured non-stop, collected three No. 1 radio singles (“Breathe Into Me”, “Already Over” and “Break Me Down”), won a Dove Award (Rock Recorded Song for “Breathe Into Me”), and received a GRAMMY nomination in the category Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album. The five-member band is: Michael Barnes, lead vocals; Anthony Armstrong, guitar; Randy Armstrong, bass; Jasen Rauch, guitar; and Hayden Lamb, drums.
