Leigh Nash
the voice of Sixpence is
 “Blue on Blue”

July 20, 2006

If you have heard the sound of Christian music artists- Sixpence None The Richer, then you have heard Leigh Nash. She was the lead singer for Sixpence until they signed off in 2004.

She is releasing her first solo CD on August 15th. Her voice is as amazing as ever, and we know that her fans are going to want to rush to the store and pick-up their first copy of “Blue on Blue”.

Christian Music Times had the privilege of being one of the first to interview Leigh, and you will be hearing her interview in our “Audio Interviews”.  We will be featuring some of Leigh’s new songs in the interview, so you won’t want to miss it.

Sixpence was one of the premier Christian music pop groups over the last decade. Their hit “Kiss Me” was number one on the Billboard charts in 1998, and they had other top singles including, “There She Goes”- “Breathe Your Name”- “Don’t Dream It’s Over” through 2003, when Leigh became pregnant and decided to take time for her family.

Leigh has started her own label called “One Son Records”, after her love for her only son. We asked her what she was going to call her record label when she had more children, she said; “that’s complicated, but maybe it will be “One Son- One Daughter, or “Two Sons” (yes, she was laughing).

Listen to what she has to say about her acting debut, and the freedom she feels in starting her own label. Dial back to Christian Music Times in the next few days, and listen to the Audio Interview---- Rock on!
