Our featured Indie Artist of the month is the Day Zero band. We really got into this bands sound, and we are going to have some clips of their music in this article shortly, so keep checking back.

Day Zero has been together for a little over two-years. They have played in over a hundred shows, and some of their venues have been interesting. Like the time they played on a US Navy aircraft carrier in front of 500 world dignitaries, or the time they played at Qualcom Stadium in San Diego, California in front of thousands of people after the 2003 wild-fires that destroyed over 2000 homes in the area.

 

“We felt blessed to have these opportunities to give back to our community so early in our carrier”, says Jesse. “We met United States Congresswoman Susan Davis, and former Mayor of San Diego- Dick Murphy as a result of these events, and they remain friends to this day.”

 

The thing that fired up our staff here at Christian Music Times is how talented these guys are. I mean, Jesse is only 16 years old! That means that they were playing in front of huge crowds when he was only fourteen. Wow!

 

As we do in all our Indie features, we are making it easy for A & R guys to contact them. We make it a point to only feature Indie’s that are at the next level in their career. We work hard to make sure that the talents of our Featured un-signed artists are at the point where they are good enough to start talking to labels. Day Zero is definitely there!
