BarlowGirl Releases New CD Package ‘Another Journal Entry –
Expanded Edition’ Aug. 29
San Diego, Ca.- Aug. 30, 2006… Christian Music girl-band rocker’s- BarlowGirl, are releasing their new CD package, Another Journal Entry - Expanded Edition, on August. 29th. Following up BarlowGirl’s critically acclaimed 2005 release, Another Journal Entry, the Expanded Edition includes five previously unreleased songs, cool web content and a 150-page book, BarlowGirl: More Than Music, written by Alyssa, Becca and Lauren Barlow with Andrew Barlow.
This is a collector item CD will feature segments on daily life, thoughts on the future, stories behind the songs and pages of color pictures. More Than Music provides an inside look at the girls as artists, songwriters, sisters and friends.
BarlowGirl will launch its nationwide, 30-city “Do Not Conform Tour” this fall in support of Another Journal Entry – Expanded Edition. Beginning Sept. 15 in Cincinnati, OH and jointly sponsored by LifeWay, Word Label Group and World Vision, the tour also features Matthew West and Downhere. This is BarlowGirl’s first time ever headlining a tour.
BarlowGirl’s path to fame is rapidly expanding due to the national recognition they have been receiving. In a Today Show feature that aired in Dec., 2005, an NBC reporter heralded BarlowGirl as the group leading the way for Christian music to reach the mainstream market. Another Journal Entry – Expanded Edition additionally includes the band’s music video, Never Alone. The video recently debuted on Yahoo! where it has been one of the most successful Christian premieres to date with over 500,000 views online.
